Path Finder is an Android based Purchase, Sales and Inventory management application built to connect to Spire Systems business management software. It is best to use on hardware with a dedicated barcode reader, but can utilize the camera of a device to scan as well.

Does Path Finder require a cloud server?

Path Finder is designed from the ground up to use the Spire API. While there is an API Extension required for some features, this service is installed on the Spire Data Server. No additional servers are required.

Is there any delay between updating the data with the application and Spire?

By using the Spire API, we have removed the middle-ware server that other applications require, removing any delay. The application directly loads and updates the Spire database.

What hardware does the application work with?

The application is built and designed for Android 9.0 or higher, for best results we recommend a device with a built in scanner. Additionally a basic numberic keypad is a great addition to help speed up data entry. Our clients have had great results with products by MUNBYN, Scan Sku and Zebra.

I have multiple warehouses, without a cloud server can I use this application?

While Path Finder is designed to connect directly to the Spire server, there are secure methods to have remote locations connected to work with the application. This requires a VPN connection from the remote site to the same network as the Spire server.
